We are delighted to be named as the 2023 DISTILLERY OF THE YEAR!

Arran Whisky Festival 2022

5 Jan 2022

We are delighted to annouce that the Arran Whisky Festival is back in 2022!  After two long years without our well established annual Malt and Music Festival we are looking forward to opening the doors to Lagg and Lochranza and welcoming everyone back (in person!) to celebrate a weekend of whisky and friendship.  Make sure to get the dates in your diary - Friday 24th, Saturday 25th and Sunday 26th June 2022.

There will be a few changes to the weekend's schedule.  For the first time ever we will be hosting the White Stag Dinner on the Friday night and the Saturday daytime events at Lagg Distillery.  This year will be an important milestone for Lagg Distillery as its spirit will be "coming of age" and we will be releasing its first 3 Year Old Single Malt Scotch Whisky (more on this to come) so we thought Lagg would be an ideal place to welcome everyone back to the island for our Whisky Festival weekend!

The Survivor's Lunch will be held at Lochranza Distillery on the Sunday and it will be hosted by our newly appointed Distillery Manager Stewart Bowman, so guests will have the opportunity to enjoy getting to know Stewart and hear about his past experience and his plans going forward for Lochranza Distillery.

Due to ongoing uncertainly surrounding Covid we have decided not to host the Saturday evening Ceilidh this year but we hope it will return in future years once we can have a bit more "normality" in our lives.

We will be releasing further information and details about our plans for the Whisky Festival over the next few months but we just wanted to give everyone some joyful news to kick start a fresh new year and have something to look forward to in 2022.  We plan on selling tickets around end of February/early March 2022 so please keep an eye on the website, social media and our newsletter updates for further information.

We would like to wish all our whisky friends a Happy Healthy New Year!

All the best,

Team Isle of Arran Distillers
