We are delighted to be named as the 2023 DISTILLERY OF THE YEAR!

Vacancies available at Lagg Distillery

6 Feb 2024

We are delighted to bring some exciting new roles to the Isle of Arran as we continue to grow our business at Lagg Distillery. Since we opened in 2019, we have welcomed thousands of visitors through our doors, released our two new core expressions the Kilmory and Corriecravie Single Malts, and won Scottish Distillery Of The Year at the Scottish Whisky Awards. As we prepare for another busy season ahead, we are looking to expand our team across the tour guide, retail and front of house teams within our Visitor Centre.

Tour Guide
£12ph, full-time and part-time available, weekends required

Are you passionate about whisky? Do you love sharing stories and connecting with people from around the world? If so, you might be the perfect fit for the role of Tour Guide. As a key member of our team, you'll have the opportunity to lead distillery tours, guiding visitors through the fascinating process of whisky production and offering insights into our rich heritage.

You'll also be involved in whisky tastings, helping guests explore the nuances of flavour and aroma within our unique peated single malts. When you're not leading tours or tastings, you'll be assisting in the retail shop, welcoming guests with a warm smile, and handling general reception and administration duties alongside your colleagues.

General Assistant
£12ph, full-time and part-time available, weekends required

For those who thrive in a dynamic and varied environment, the role of General Assistant offers a rewarding challenge. From welcoming our guests with a warm smile, assisting in the retail shop, managing reception and administration duties to hosting informal whisky sampling sessions, no two days are ever the same. You'll be at the forefront of guest interactions, sharing your enthusiasm for whisky and ensuring that every visitor leaves with unforgettable memories.

Front of House
£12ph, full-time and part-time available, weekends required

If you enjoy hosting guests and kicking off unforgettable experiences with a warm welcome, our Front of House role might have your name on it. From brewing a delicious cup of coffee to serving up delectable meals and, of course, pouring drams and hosting informal whisky tastings, you'll ensure that every visitor feels welcomed and valued throughout their experience.

As a member of our team you’ll receive the Real Living Wage and enjoy discounts on food, beverage and whisky items as well as a free lunch during shifts.

If you’d like to apply for one of our positions, please email miller@laggwhisky.com with your CV.

Please note that we are currently dealing with our internet service dropping in and out, so we might be unable to repond to applicants as quickly as we'd like.
